FKM, commonly known by the brand name Viton©, are made from fluorocarbon elastomers. They are known for their exceptional chemical resistance, especially to oils, fuels, and solvents. FKM px-2 py-1s provide superior performance in high-temperature and harsh chemical environments, making them suitable for demanding industrial applications such as automotive, aerospace, and chemical processing.


Operating Temperature:

-15°C (5°F) to 200°C (392°F), up to 250°C (482°F) for short periods

Applications: Automotive fuel and oil systems, Chemical processing equipment, Aerospace seals, Petrochemical industry, Hydraulic systems, Power generation

Avoid: Low molecular weight esters and ethers, Amines, Hot water and steam above 100°C, Low-temperature applications below -15°C
