EPDM
EPDM is made from Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer, which is a versatile synthetic rubber with excellent resistance to weathering, ozone, UV rays, and aging. These px-2 py-1s are widely used in applications where exposure to the outdoors or harsh chemicals is expected.

EPDM Not Recommended
- Petroleum-based oils and fuels
- Aromatic hydrocarbons
- Mineral oil-based lubricants
- Hydraulic fluids (petroleum derivatives)
EPDM Limitations
- Limited resistance to oil and gas
- Not suitable for use with most hydrocarbons and solvents
- Cannot be used in high-temperature steam applications
