Payment & Credit Terms
This page explains how payment works at checkout, the open-account terms we offer to business customers, and how to apply for invoiced billing.
Two Ways to Pay
Every account can pay by card at checkout. Approved business accounts can also be invoiced on open-account terms.
Card at checkout
Your card is authorised when you place the order — not charged. We work to the ship date shown at checkout: once we confirm we can meet that date, the payment is captured and we notify you. If we cannot meet it, we send you the date we can meet and capture only after you approve it. Nothing is charged if you decline that date.
Open account (invoiced)
Approved accounts can order without a card and be invoiced on agreed terms. Invoiced orders are subject to a credit limit set for your account, and payment is due on the terms shown on each invoice.
Card payment is the default. Open-account terms are not enabled automatically — they are granted on application, and every invoice is due on its stated due date.
What Open Account Means
Terms are set per account and confirmed in writing before your first invoiced order.
The term on your account decides when payment is due. A Net 30 account, for example, means an invoice is due 30 days from its invoice date. Each invoice shows its own due date, so you never have to calculate it.
We do not offer a fixed menu of terms to everyone — the term and limit we grant depend on your order history with us, and on what you are asking for. Shorter terms on a first approval are normal, and we will review your account as it builds a payment record.
Your credit limit
An approved account is given a credit limit. The limit is measured against everything outstanding on your account — unpaid invoices and orders that have been placed but not yet invoiced. An order that would take you past your limit is held for review rather than confirmed, so it is worth checking your headroom before placing a large order.
You can see your terms, your limit, and how much of it is in use on the Invoices page of your account at any time. If you need a higher limit for a specific order, contact us before placing it.
Applying for Open Account Terms
Send us the details below and we will review your application and confirm the outcome by email.
What to include
- Legal entity name and billing address of the company that will be invoiced.
- Tax identification — EIN, VAT, or local equivalent.
- Accounts payable contact — the name and email address invoices should be sent to.
- Your track record with us. If you already buy from us, we base our decision on your own account history — how long you have been ordering, how much you have paid, and whether anything has been disputed or returned. No trade references are required.
- What you need — the term and approximate credit limit you are asking for, and your expected order volume.
How to submit it
Email the details to sales@rubberdynamics.com. If you already have an account with us, send it from the email address registered on that account so we can match it up.
What happens next
We decide accounts on the strength of your own track record with us, so there are no references to chase. If you are new to us, we will usually start you on card payment and review your account for open-account terms once it has a payment history.
When we approve an account we confirm the term and credit limit in writing. Credit terms are granted at our discretion, and we may approve a smaller limit or a shorter term than requested.
Keep ordering while you wait. You do not need an approved account to order — card payment works immediately, and you can move to invoiced billing once your application is approved.
Apply by EmailManaging an Invoiced Account
Everything about your terms, balance, and invoices is in your account.
The Invoices page shows your open balance, anything overdue, your payment terms, your credit limit, and how much of that limit is currently in use. Invoices can be paid online or downloaded as a PDF from the same page, and outstanding balances can be paid by card at any time.
Overdue invoices are shown by age, and anything past its due date is flagged. If you believe an invoice is incorrect, contact us before the due date rather than after it.
These terms sit alongside our Terms of Use and Shipping & Returns policy, which cover the wider agreement between us.
